ABOUT
Oblique Strategies is a deck of cards created in 1975 by Brian Eno and Peter Schmidt. Each card carries a single aphorism — a way of breaking a creative deadlock by approaching the problem from the side rather than head-on.
The instructions were simple: when stuck, draw a card and trust it, even — especially — when it seems irrelevant.
This site draws one card a day. The same card for everyone. It changes at midnight.
